Rick has been shooting from an early age, and with the help of his dad built his own darkroom while in high school. Rick is an advanced retoucher of portraiture, a landscape photographer, and inventor on more than 40 United States Patents.
In his capacity as a retoucher, Rick’s collaborations include such notables as Greg Gorman, Hollywood’s premiere movie and celebrity photographer and central California’s newest vintner, and Robb Carr, perhaps the most accomplished living retoucher. Rick’s photographs have been published in several regional and international periodicals and used by several commercial and non-profits agencies. Teaching rounds out Rick’s passions, including contributions to The Mindful Eye’s Advanced Retouching Series.
