		<description>When leaving the Newhalem Visitors Ctr, take the 1st road to the right. It's a gravel road, flood evacuation route. Elevation changes by nearly 1000' according to my gps.  The Newhalem Intake for SCL is up the road, which is also where it dead ends.</description>
